Webinar
Political Economy Analysis (PEA): Your Key to Navigating Environmental Governance Challenges
This webinar, tailored for NGOs, protected area networks, and regional governance bodies, introduced participants to the fundamentals of PEA and its practical application in environmental governance and conservation. Participants discovered how PEA can help navigate complex governance challenges, enhance decision-making, and strengthen the impact of their work.

Training Module
Trans-European Nature Network (TEN-N)
This module provides an overview of current protected area coverage in Europe and introduces learners to the concept of the TEN-N. It will explore key features of an adequate, resilient and effective TEN-N that contributes to protecting 30% of EU land and helps put biodiversity back on the path to recovery, in line with the EU Biodiversity Strategy for 2030.
Materials and activities available here.
Training Module
Nature Futures Framework (NFF)
This module is focused on the IPBES Nature Futures Framework, which allows the development of desirable nature futures scenarios and models for people and nature, considering 3 different perspectives: Nature for Nature (NfN), Nature for Society (NfS) and Nature as Culture (NaC). You will learn how the project applied the NFF to elaborate these different narratives.
Materials and activities available here.
Training Module
Stakeholder Engagement
This module brings tools to establish meaningful relationships with anyone who has an interest or is affected by your work. Starting in the planning phase and continuing throughout the entire project. You will learn to identify and analyse your stakeholders and investigate engagement techniques to better interact and plan a participatory engagement process.

Training Needs Assessment
The TNA tool helps you assess the skills, knowledge and personal qualities needed to plan or manage protected areas or ecological corridors. The competences you need are related to the level of responsibility in your work. Define your job level and assess your training needs!
The Project.
Building a resilient ecological network of conserved areas
across Europe for nature and people
With the tools and knowledge created by NaturaConnect, we aim to support the EU Member States in their conservation efforts and to jointly achieve the 30x30 target.

Our Stakeholder Community.
The NaturaConnect Stakeholder Community is an online platform that brings together the perspectives and ideas of a diverse community interested in the design of the Trans-European Nature Network.
By joining the community, you will receive project updates and have the opportunity to participate in a wide range of NaturaConnect activities, such as stakeholder events and research activities that will help to create impactful results of the project.
Our Datasets and Publications.
Essential Biodiversity Variables (EBV) Data Portal is the repository for all gridded data (i.e., raster format) on any relevant model-based biodiversity variable, dimension, and scale.
RIO Collection is the repository for all deliverables (i.e., reports) and other other outputs produced during the project period.
Zenodo is the repository for all project results that are not of a spatial nature and spatial data that do not capture any biodiversity variable, dimension or scale.
Google Scholar is the repository for all papers linked or associated with the NaturaConnect project.
